There is fear within us with or without realising it, with or without admitting it. Only when we confront, then we will realise how fearless we are.
Headstand, is one of the yoga asana that enable to see n confront our fear. Is not about whether we can or cannot do the asana, but whether how fearless and egoless we are. It enable us to confront our fear and ego, by developing peace n harmony inus and with our body. When we learn to trust the body, we have no fear and worry. Even we might fall down from headstand, but we have no fear and worry. Sometimes it might not only because the limitation or restriction of our physical body, it might be our inner fear, ego, worry, doubt, uncertainty, no confident towards ourselves n our body.
That’s what yoga asana is all about as it enable us to see and confront our deepest emotion that we have been trying to avoid or choose not to confront and pretending it does not exist. It may not appear now, but we can’t be sure it will not appear later. Only when we see it, confront it, then it means we are learning to accept the existence of it and allow it to appear and later let it go.
